Battery or Capacitor? Does it need removed?

There should be a symbol next to it on the board. Such as C1. Meaning capacitor number 1. Similar if a battery. Except it would be a B symbol. But. Looking over your board. It lacks symbols for many components on the board. One thing for certain. You can just remove it. Removing it. Will not affect the grade. Whether it is a capacitor or battery. I personally believe it is a capacitor. It has the typical look of a memory back up electrolytic capacitor. It does not have the typical battery look.
I personally would just remove it. Nothing lost.
