I wanted to post examples of batteries I've found (some have been pointed out here already) on circuit boards so maybe it'll help others identify the batteries on their boards more easily.

The first photo is clocks. These are the “Dallas Switches” named after the large supplier of them.

The second and third photo are pancake stacks. Button cell batteries soldered together

A nice selection of canister cells.
The white one is probably Mitsubishi.

Tadiran is a massive battery company.
They sell consumer batteries as well (eg AA).

A few more pancakes.
A pair of canisters
And more clocks.

Thanks for the additional info Lost. Some of these I wasn't sure initially if they were even batteries. I even photoshopped one out that wasn't a battery. Can you see my clone stamp skills? :D

I can see where there was something edited out of the first picture, there is a box about the same size of the other objects in the picture. But it is kind of hard to see. ;)

Photoshop is fun to use, you can do all sorts of stuff with it

My immediate guess is yes on the pile though one looks like a really shiny flash response or a gold cap
The layout is all ICs.
